Volt Spin is CSVOLT's bonus spin. In cases and battles it is a second reel that reveals which of a case's top items you got. In Double it is the spin that rolls a multiplier when the reel lands on Volt. In cases it never changes your odds: it only changes how a result is shown. Here is how each version works.
Volt Spin in case opening
What you see
Every case has a small group of top items called its Volt Spin items. On the case page they carry a small Volt badge in the contents list. With the Volt Spin switch on, which is the default, those items are not shown on the main reel. In their place the reel has a Volt Spin tile.
If the main reel stops on that tile, the screen hands over to a second reel. That bonus reel spins through the Volt Spin items and stops on the one you won.
What actually happens
The result of an opening is one ticket out of 10,000,000, drawn from your provably fair seeds before any reel moves. If that ticket belongs to one of the Volt Spin items, the main reel is set to stop on the Volt Spin tile, and the bonus reel is set to stop on that item. If the ticket belongs to any other item, the main reel stops on it as usual.
So both reels are a way of showing a result that already exists. Nothing is rolled twice.
Switching it off
Turn the switch off and every item, top items included, appears on one reel. The odds of every item are exactly the same in both modes. Pick whichever you enjoy. Some players like the extra moment of the bonus reel. Others prefer to see the result in one go.
Opening several cases
When you open two to four cases at once, each case shows its own result. Any case that lands a Volt Spin item gets its own bonus reveal.
Volt Spin in case battles
When you create a battle, Volt Spin is one of the options, and it is on by default. When a seat hits one of a case's top items in a round, a short bonus spin reveals it for everyone watching. It adds a little time to that round, less in Fast Mode. Like in cases, the item was rolled before the bonus spin started. See how CS2 case battles work.
Volt Spin in Double
Double has a Volt tile too, one of the 15 tiles on its reel. When the reel stops on Volt, a separate Volt Spin rolls a multiplier for every Volt play:
| Multiplier | Chance |
|---|---|
| 2x | 26% |
| 5x | 20% |
| 10x | 16% |
| 15x | 12% |
| 18x | 9% |
| 20x | 8% |
| 50x | 5% |
| 75x | 3% |
| 100x | 1% |
Here the Volt Spin does decide something: the multiplier. It is decided by the round's own seed, which was fixed before the round, so it is still provably fair. When Volt lands three rounds in a row, the third round also shares the Volt Pot between its Volt players. See the Double guide.
Common questions about the odds
Does Volt Spin make the top items easier to hit?
No. The chance of each Volt Spin item is the same as its chance in the contents table, whether the switch is on or off.
Is landing on the Volt Spin tile a win?
It means your item is one of the case's top items. Which one is shown on the bonus reel. The top items are usually worth more than the case price, but check the contents: their values differ.
Why does the main reel sometimes stop right next to the Volt Spin tile?
Where the reel stops inside the strip is part of the animation. Near misses are just how a random stopping point looks. They do not mean you were close.
Checking a Volt Spin result
Rotate your seed pair under Account, Fairness, then enter the server seed, the client seed and the nonce on the verify page. The verifier shows the item, and it is the same item the bonus reel showed. More in how to verify provably fair results.
Volt Spin and fast spin
Fast spin, the lightning button on a case page, shortens the main reel and the bonus reel alike. The result does not change. If you open many cases, fast spin with Volt Spin on keeps the bonus moment without slowing you down much.
Frequently asked questions
What is Volt Spin on CSVOLT?
A bonus reel that reveals a case's top items in cases and battles, and the multiplier spin on the Volt tile in Double.
Does Volt Spin change case odds?
No. In cases the result is drawn before the reel starts. Volt Spin only changes how the top items are shown.
Can I turn Volt Spin off?
Yes. Use the Volt Spin switch on the case page. In battles, the creator chooses it when making the battle.
Which items are Volt Spin items?
The ones with the small Volt badge in the case contents.
How often does Double land on Volt?
Volt is 1 of the 15 tiles, so about once every 15 rounds on average.
18+ only. CSVOLT uses virtual coins and every result is random. Set limits in responsible gaming.
